Manage your data and privacy

Happy Diabetes stores data so the app can provide your account, learning history, notes, reports, and subscription access. You can manage most privacy actions from your account settings.

Export your data

To download a copy of your account data:

Sign in to Happy Diabetes.
Open Settings → Privacy & GDPR.
Choose the export option and follow the instructions shown in the app.

The export may include account information, learning progress, notes, journal entries, report history, and feedback linked to your account when those items exist.

Delete your account

To request account deletion:

Open Settings → Privacy & GDPR.
Choose the account deletion option.
Read the confirmation screen carefully before validating.

What may be kept after deletion

Most app-owned personal data is removed or anonymized during account deletion. Some records may need to be kept for legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

For example, Stripe invoices may be retained by the payment provider for the legally required accounting period. The privacy policy and data deletion page explain these cases in more detail.

Manage privacy preferences

From Settings → Privacy & GDPR, you can review privacy controls available to your account. Depending on your account history, you may see options for exports, deletion, consent preferences, or data categories connected to app features.
