Secure your account

Last updated: August 2026

Account security matters because Happy Diabetes can contain health-related notes, learning history, reports, and subscription information.

Review your security settings

Open Settings → Security to see the options available for your account. Depending on how you signed up, you may see password settings, linked accounts, passkeys, or two-factor authentication.

Passkeys

Passkeys let you sign in with a secure method supported by your device or browser. If your browser asks for another device or Bluetooth and that is not what you expected, use another available sign-in method and review your passkey setup later.

Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication adds a code from an authenticator app. It may require a password to be configured first.

Keep recovery access to your email and authenticator app. Happy Diabetes cannot usefully help if you lose access to every sign-in method at once.

Linked accounts

If you use Apple, Google, or another linked account, keep that account secure too. A problem on the provider side can affect your ability to sign in.

If something looks suspicious

Change your password or provider credentials when needed, then use the contact page if you notice activity you do not recognize.
